(Before you make your first pizza)!
   For the dough:
      Bread flour.
      Rapid rise yeast.
Food processor or stand mixer unless you plan on working the dough by hand.
   For the sauce:
One or more 28 oz cans of tomato puree or crushed tomato.
Spices: salt, garlic salt, (garlic cloves-optional), leaf oregano & grd black pepper.
   For the cheese:
A quality mozzarella such as shown in the "All about cheese" video.
If you end up looking for more flavor & care to blend cheeses, I recommend blending 10-20% provolone.
Optional hard cheeses are parmesan, romano and asiago.
   For the veggie toppings:
There are a wide variety of veggies such as onion, green pepper, canned mushrooms, fresh mushrooms plus black & green olives.
If using canned mushrooms, rinse in a strainer & push all the water out before applying to your pizza. Moisture is an enemy to the pizza.
   For the meat toppings:
Hormel makes a tasty pepperoni in both pork & turkey.
Buy pre-seasoned Italian sausage or follow my videos regarding making your own.
Bacon (pre-cook it), ham, Canadian bacon, salami & just about anything you can imagine to make a meat lovers pizza.
   Final notes:
I recommend starting out making a basic, medium cheese pizza before climbing the ladder.
Just getting a good feel for making & handling the dough along with an easy assembly will
make your early days of learning the art of pizza baking, more enjoyable.
